Class Descriptions

All flowers, supplies, and containers are included in the tuition, and students will take their arrangements with them after class. Each student will receive a one-time 3-month access card, which allows them to shop at Pike’s Peak, a local Houston flower wholesaler adjacent to our classroom.

OUR TWO WEEK SCHEDULE:

Mondays - Floral Arrangement Class

2 back-to-back Mondays from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.; Break 12-1.

Join us on Mondays for our Floral Arrangement Class. Expect to gain expertise and leave confident in mechanics and design styles. This class instructs the principles and elements of classic, European, and contemporary floral design. This hands-on floral arranging class will include a classic round arrangement, a low centerpiece, a dozen red roses, and a Japanese style arrangement.

Tuesdays - Wedding Design Class

2 back-to-back Tuesdays from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.; Break 12-1.

Gain hands-on experience learning the elements of floral design for the “big day” in our Wedding Design Class. You will learn how to create a boutonnière, a wrist corsage, a bridesmaid bouquet, a large centerpiece, and a cascade bouquet.

Wednesdays - Sympathy Design Class

2 back-to-back Wednesdays from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.; Break 12-1.

Create honorable beauty in our Sympathy Design Class where we instruct the principles and elements of floral design for funerals. This hands-on floral arranging class will include constructing a standing spray, a casket spray, a wreath, and an urn arrangement.

Thursdays - Shop Management Class

2 back-to-back Thursdays from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.; Break 12-1.

Attend our informational Shop Management Class on Thursdays. This class provides knowledge for operating flower businesses including processing and care of cut flowers and green plants, buying, pricing and mark-up formulas, floral marketing, and wire service membership.

Saturdays and Sundays - Parties

Saturdays - 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. – Party 1; 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. – Party 2

Sundays - 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. - Party 1; 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. – Party 2

We host custom parties on Saturdays and Sundays. Contact us for scheduling and pricing for a birthday or special event function for flower lovers of all ages.
